Join us on The Statehouse Terrace for Tastes & Toasts. Enjoy oysters prepared four ways, paired with expertly selected sparkling wines. The evening will feature a wine expert to help you discover the notes of each selected varietal, and corresponding small bites from The Statehouse. Plan a girls’ night out, unique date night or end-of-week gathering with friends and enjoy the sunset (7:37pm). Attendees will also have access to special pricing on featured take-home bottles.

Grilled oyster with garlic herb butter, preserved lemon, grilled crostini
Segura Viudas Brut Rose’, Spain:  Youthful fruit aromas of strawberry, redcurrant and grenadine. Refreshing on the palate, full of cherry fruit and a light acidity.

Fresh shucked oyster, with green apple & fennel mignonette
Segura Viudas Gran Cuvee Reserva Brut, Spain:  A perfect combination of old vine Macabeo and Parellada, which deliver the richness of Chardonnay and the wild berry notes of Pinot Noir.

Lemongrass crusted oyster with cucumber salad, Thai vinaigrette
Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs, Carneros, CA: Bright strawberry and black cherry aromas with subtle vanilla highlights. Creamy cherry, lemon and cola flavors combine with a lush palate, lively bubbles and a persistent finish. 

Smoked oyster over local corn & crispy pork belly risotto
Freixenet Ice Cuvee, Spain:  A new way to enjoy bubbles:  over ice with a sprig of mint!  Delicious and a little sweet.
