Isthmus Paddle and Portage 2018

The 39th annual Isthmus Paddle & Portage returns to downtown Madison on Saturday, June 16th, 2018.
Isthmus is proud to host over 900 participants from across the country! Competitors of all strokes of life brave the lakes and set to the streets - professional racers, amateur paddlers, parents, children and everyone in between!
The race begins at James Madison Park with a 1-mile paddle on Lake Mendota, followed by a 1-mile portage past the Capitol and Dane County Farmers' Market, before heading to the final 2.5-mile paddle across Lake Monona and the finish line at Olbrich Park.
Racers and spectators are invited to enjoy musical entertainment, delicious food, refreshing craft brews and an awards ceremony at Olbrich Park for the post race party & annual costume contest!

Early Bird Registration (Ends March 30) - $40 per paddler
Registration (April 1 – June 10) – $50 per paddler
Day Of/Friday Bip Pick-up Registration (June 15 & 16) – $60 per paddler
Online registration will close Sunday June 10, 2018 at midnight.
